Kathy Hart began her editing career in 1965 at Life magazine in New York City. The editor of numerous magazines and books, she has also written various articles and a newspaper column focusing on women's issues and the "philosophies of the soul." She has studied and led workshops in creative journaling, theater improvisation, the shamanic journey, and the principles of mutual support developed by Arnold Patent. Kathy lives on the coast north of San Francisco.
